Despondency

A box to another

A job to another

slowly the words stutter

bouncing back and forth to suffer

how entrapped this soul feels

how responsibility has had me kneel

in the middle of looking for self

take a farther route, climb a steep curve hill

the fee was indeed outstanding, it’s overdue

I hope I’m able to

Pay back the people who birthed you

to be a good daughter

and be the son too

until this body toils, until my fidelity runs through

i live in self-defeating fear

will the day come when I can breath some air?

will everything pass in life?

be it stranger or near dears

as long as you persevere?
